What is Bittensor?
Bittensor is a network of subnets that reward different forms of machine intelligence or digital services. Subnet miners produce outputs, validators evaluate them and protocol incentives distribute TAO according to the resulting weights; TAO is also staked and used in subnet market mechanics.
The system does not objectively prove that every rewarded output is useful or uniquely artificial intelligence. Each subnet defines its own evaluation game, so validator incentives, copied outputs, scoring quality and subnet liquidity must be assessed rather than treating aggregate emissions as product revenue.
Owning TAO is not ownership of a single AI model or a claim on revenue from every Bittensor subnet.
