Publishing standard · Version 1.1

Editorial policy

CryptoDigest publishes independently written market intelligence whose material claims can be traced, checked, qualified, and corrected.

Discovery is not evidence

News reports, feeds, social posts, and research indexes may alert the desk to a story. They do not automatically establish the claim. Reporters follow citations and links to primary materials where available, inspect the underlying context, and seek independent confirmation when the source leaves a material gap.

Original reporting and attribution

Published copy is written for CryptoDigest from the verified evidence packet. Material facts, data, quotations, and distinctive findings are attributed to their sources. We do not present another publisher's protected expression, images, or analysis as our own.

Research inputs are not publications

Feed headlines, metadata, excerpts, and automated event records are research inputs, not CryptoDigest articles. They remain in the newsroom workflow and are not exposed as public story pages or labeled with NewsArticle structured data.

Search-indexable news publication requires an independently researched and written body, direct review of the cited evidence, material fact-checking, clear attribution, and editorial approval. Automation cannot waive that gate.

Evidence states

Data, automation, and AI-assisted tools

Automated systems may collect permitted metadata, normalize market observations, detect changes, organize research, or assist drafting. A tool is not treated as a source. Publication still requires source review, factual checking, rights-aware attribution, and editorial approval appropriate to the claim.

Updates, corrections, and retractions

Pages show material update dates and, for durable research, a version history. Confirmed factual errors are corrected promptly and material changes are disclosed. A claim whose evidentiary basis fails is withdrawn or the page is retracted rather than quietly left in place.

Independence and financial boundary

CryptoDigest separates editorial judgments from sponsorship or affiliate incentives. It does not execute trades, custody assets, promise returns, or provide individualized investment advice. Commercial relationships must not buy a conclusion or suppress a material limitation.

Historical material

Restored URLs distinguish recovered historical material from current editorial updates. Missing text, dates, figures, and bylines are disclosed rather than reconstructed as fact.
