What is Cronos?
CRO is used for gas on Cronos EVM and in staking, payments and incentive products across the broader Cronos and Crypto.com ecosystem. Cronos EVM is compatible with Ethereum tooling, while other Cronos networks use different execution and settlement designs.
The token has undergone large governance-led supply changes, so a historical maximum or burn headline alone is not a durable supply model. Investors should distinguish circulating supply, treasury or reserve allocations, emissions and any future governance actions, as well as the reliance of utility on associated commercial platforms.
CRO utility spans multiple networks and products; activity on one Cronos chain does not describe the whole ecosystem or guarantee value accrual to the token.
