What is Aster?
Aster operates spot and perpetual trading products across several chains and supports yield-bearing collateral. ASTER is intended for governance, ecosystem incentives and participation rewards; it is a token around the trading protocol rather than the gas asset securing each underlying chain.
Official allocation data assigns most supply to airdrop and ecosystem programs, with different immediate unlocks and vesting periods for contributors, treasury and community pools. Reported protocol volume should therefore be studied alongside contract control, liquidation design, collateral quality, incentives and future dilution.
ASTER ownership does not by itself make a holder a liquidity provider or give an automatic legal claim on all trading fees.
No material active explanation
Detector output is shown only when evidence crosses a materiality threshold; price movement alone is not treated as a cause.
No evidence-backed catalyst is currently flagged.
That is an honest unknown, not evidence that no catalyst exists.
